Off to Düsseldorf

Didn't I just get home? I think I did. And had so little time that there was no chance to say "I'm back" before writing "I'm off again."

Actually I'm going to Essen Germany, taking the high-speed train from Amsterdam to Düsseldorf along the way. Unrelated to Hamburg's meeting on Friday, Monday in Essen is going to be a special little work day. As in, especially painful, long, and difficult.

I have a secret that will get me through the day. A little warm spark to keep me going. I've got a movie night scheduled with a very sweet friend of mine on Tuesday. It's enough to keep me smiling all the way through the impending disaster of my trip to Germany.

I'll try not to let life get too in the way of blogging.

Morgan -- I was just giing you a hard time. Live your life. Blog whenever. This blog doesn't pay the bills, nor can you cuddle up to it on a cold night.

Quilly, I'm working on that "cold night" problem. ;-) It takes away from my blog time. I know you understand.

Mom, love you too! Please ignore all these comments about cuddling.

Minka, a Bratwurst on you? Hmmm, great mental image, thanks! I enjoyed the train ride... probably because I was in 1st class on the ICE train. :-D

Aside: Happy 250th!

According to Blogger, this is the 250th post on this blog. Wow, that represents a LOT of time bent over a keyboard. But all worth it.

Here's to another 250 posts!

Happy 250th! Wow, that's a lot of posts. Hope your trip wasn't too grueling and that your movie night turns out to be a special one (sorry, guess that's none of my business). ;)

I just like saying (and writing) Düsseldorf!

Happy 250th!

Hi Theresa! Movie night was special. :-) (Hey, I brought it up first.)

Charline, IMHO saying it is as much fun as being there. I don't know how to write it due to the ummie thing. So I have to copy and paste it.

Düsseldorf Düsseldorf!

I wanna play too. My sister lives about 20 minutes away from Düsseldorf!

I like saying the word umlaut almost as much as I like saying Düsseldorf! Your very amusing this week Mo.

Ladies,

Yes, an umlaut! That's what I meant but the "ummie thing". But why isn't there an umlaut in umlaut?

Everyone is welcome to play the "fun-to-say German places game."

Dearest.....The "love" is always there, no matter what. The main message was, "I'M smilin' because YOU're so happy."

Oh, ya, the game....."umlaut" has always tickled my tongue. But, I want to know, who is Frank and exactly how does he furt.

My favourite German word is "morgen". Our Morgan was born at 5a.m. (just a happy coincidence)

I thought it was 6:15am. Huh?

Either way, it was the first and last thing I ever did early in the morning.
