Trade Show

Trade shows are boring. Deeply deeply boring. And "working" the show is even worse. Still, I'm in Denmark eating real Danish food and hearing crazy languages all around me. And the people I'm working with (just met) seem really nice.

Any way, the point of this post is not about how boring the show is. I was getting demands for pics from Denmark. As this show is the only thing in Denmark I've seen, suffer through these.

These are the guys I'm working with. That's my laptop on the right! Yippee!
The lunch was really quite nice!
For those bored enough to ask... it's a broadband network convention. So people are selling software (that's me!), tools, and the actual materials to make things like fiber-optic networks.
*yawn*

Where's my plate? Morgan, you can't go inviting people to buffets and not offering them plates!

Mom that's all you get for pics from Denmark. I feel almost guilty.

Quilly, I feel no guilt about your plate. I was already the guest of another company and thus couldn't invite more guests in turn.

Ah shucks, thanks. It belongs to my employer, but it is pretty cool that I was able to use it to Bluetooth the pics from my camera/phone then WiFi them out to Blogger all wirelessly from the show floor.

is that an MSN box open? You seem deeply involved in yoru work :)

I once helped my dad for a weekend selling motors and stuff at a convention and people kept asking me all those chemical questions and I just pointed them to teh direction of the buffet. Oddly enough, dad has never asked me again to help him with any convention ever again. *snickers*
I tried to be helpful, but what's a penguin to do?

It wasn't MSN... that was "the software".

As for the selling, I'm an engineer. I took an oath to be honest, making selling things nearly impossible.

"Motors and stuff"? Where was the buffet? :)

There was a long table outside for everybody at the convention to fill their tummies, get in touch with tehir own motoric reatcions and return to the scene of the oily things :)

LOL! That's beautiful, I looked up motoric just to make sure it was really a word. Of course the wise little penguin knew it was!

Buffet food and greasy motors... does your dad need to hire any one?

He he needs references tell him to google: "Morgan D'Antonio", DSM
