... I thought of you when I read this!

What more can you ask for when after a year of blogging one of your friends sends you this comic? Alas, said friend is too far away to turn a coffee mug over her head. "Frustrated creator"? Well okay, I relate to that. "Delusional outlet"? Well, I do think a couple people drop by to read this... so possibly. "Published"? Certainly not! I think that maybe someday a person who may publish something (and make money from it) might find ideas and material here. I hope that the person is a future me. But that's also possibly delusional.

I should admit, the idea of blogging from the perspective of a psychotic inmate scribbling poetry is very tempting. But honestly, I'm much too busy.

Char, I wish I had a snazzy comic on people who count fish, but I don't. So to your comic I say... "Oh Yeah?!?"

Yeah the fish counting cartoons are few and far between! I love the Pearls before Swine strip. Smart, a little sarcastic, and a lot funny!

As for coffee mug over ...there was no heat in my home this morning, so if there was coffee in that mug, I'd be happy to have it poured over my head!

Nice! Very descriptive.I think there is some essence in that cartoon, although I never feel like a published author, I feel I am catching up with friends and letting them know what I am doing right now. It safes telephone costs!

Hi Morgan and many happy greetings from America:) They let me through!

So, that's what blogging is all about...and all this time I thought we were just having fun. You may not be making money off it, but technically it's published, and being enjoyed by me for one.

Charline, well you know it's a good cartoon if I dedicate a day to it. Thanks for the thought... I think. Warm up soon.

Minka, you made it! Yippee! Okay, I can enjoy my holiday better knowing you're with friends now.

Theresa, okay one vote for published. I just think of it as a diary you don't keep secret. Or more precisely, a diary you don't keep secrets in.

I go back and forth on "published." "Published enough" is kind of how I feel about my blog. Naturally I wish you fame and fortune.

Incidentally, I'm not sure people who comment on blogs ought to make tooooooo much fun of those who write them. At least our delusions are of grandeur.

I AM a published author. Has nothing to do with my blog -- except that my blog keeps me from having to actually sit down and polish a piece, or write more then a few paragraphs at a time.

Doug, in this case, all commenters have blogs... so it's all fair.

OCQ, I'm published too. I think the work was called "Performance Study of
Recovered Uranium Fuel in a CANDU Reactor" or similar. Rather a boring read, so I hope in the future to publish something "better".
